![]() ![]() Something to be aware of, since you mention using company/work assets to accomplish the goal at hand. and i must connect to the wifi for roon to work with my android and core, usually i'm connected to the wired network. plus using my smartphone as control is not that comfortable, it drains the battery and looses connections when i go for a brake or for lunch and then also the core needs to restart I love the sound and the UI but this setup looks a bit of overkill for my needs, plus it has a drawback where the core is freely exposed over the network to anyone who has the roon app (i'm at the office connected to the company's wifi). Then i found Roon that works flawlessly where the core is running on my debian desktop and controled with my android. I've been reading many threads and articles for the past two weeks, and i'm really overblown with new phrases and technologies and really not even one decent solution to this simple need. but i do have some understanding in computers as a programmer. I have no idea about audio technologies, i'm just a listener. I'm running debian on my work laptop, i have a chord mojo and a beyerdynamic headphones. all i want is to be able to listen to Tidal+masters and Qubuz on my linux desktop while at the office. My issue is probably simple but I can't seem to find a decent solution. ![]()
